Hash Hedge: Bought a $10,000 Challenge for $85 — A Real Test of a Prop Service for Crypto Traders

Advertisements promising «$150,000 in capital management for crypto traders» have flooded the internet. Hash Hedge is one of the prominent players riding this wave. As always, I'm testing it personally. With my own money.

In this article, I'll break down: how the service works, what are the real chances of passing the challenge, what strategy to use, where the pitfalls are hidden, and I'll show you step-by-step how to buy a challenge with a 15% discount using our club's affiliate link.

The full video with purchase and payment is further down in the article.

What is Hash Hedge

Hash Hedge is a prop trading company that provides crypto traders with trading capital under management. The logic is simple: you prove your skills on a demo account, pass the evaluation, and get access to the company's real money. All losses on the trading account are borne by the prop company; the trader's personal funds are not at risk.

The amount of capital you can get under management ranges from $5,000 to $150,000.

Why is this needed? Most traders face the same problem: they have a working strategy, they find entry points, but their deposit is $100 or $500. Even an excellent +50% per month on such capital doesn't change their life. In an attempt to earn significantly, traders increase risks, use huge leverage, and blow up their accounts. Not because of a bad strategy, but because of insufficient capital.

Prop trading solves this problem. You keep your skills, but trade other people's money in a substantial amount.

Conditions for the $10,000 Challenge

To get a funded account, you need to pass a two-phase evaluation.

Phase 1 The goal is to earn an 8% profit ($800 on a $10,000 account). Maximum daily drawdown is 5%, total drawdown is 10%. Minimum of 5 trading days. No time limit to pass.

Phase 2 The profit target is reduced to 6% ($600). Daily drawdown remains 5%, total drawdown is reduced to 8%. Minimum of 5 trading days. No time limit.

Phase 3 — Funded Account Real capital under management. Daily drawdown 5%, total drawdown 8%. You withdraw profits.

The maximum leverage across all three phases is 1:5. On a $10,000 account, this allows opening positions up to $50,000.

The cost of the $10,000 challenge on the website is $99. Using our affiliate link with the promo code BSS, it's $84.15.

Real Numbers: Assessing the Chances

Many look at the «$150,000» in the ads and don't consider what it takes to achieve it.

Compare it yourself. If you have a $100 deposit, eight percent is just $8. Six percent is $6. Amounts that don't change your life, even with a working strategy.

But on a $10,000 deposit, the same eight percent is already $800. Six percent is $600. In total, for two phases, you need to earn $1,400 to get access to real capital under management.

The key takeaway: the percentages are the same. What changes is what those percentages mean in dollars.

This is the essence of passing the challenge. You're not demonstrating "genius profitability," you're demonstrating discipline — the ability to consistently earn a moderate percentage without risking excessively.

Pitfall: Minimum of 5 Trading Days

This is the first thing many people overlook. Even if you achieve +8% in a single day, the system won't count it as passing the phase. You need to trade for at least 5 different trading days.

The pitfall here is psychological. After 3-4 successful days with a profit of 6-7%, the temptation arises to make one aggressive trade to reach the remaining 1-2% and close the phase. This is how accounts are blown. It's better to have 5+ small days.

There's no need to rush — there's no time limit to pass. This works in the trader's favor.

Passing Strategy: Slow and Steady Growth

The main mistake most challenge buyers make is trading «as usual,» meaning aggressively. This doesn't work in a challenge. The winner here isn't maximum profitability, but minimal risk per trade.

Calculating Acceptable Risk

On a $10,000 account, the total drawdown is 10%, meaning a $1,000 buffer.

If you set a stop-loss at 1% of the deposit ($100 risk per trade) — this provides a buffer for 10 consecutive losing trades before you're out. This is a normal safety net.

With 1:5 leverage, the position size is up to $50,000 per trade. With a $100 risk, the profit potential is significant due to leverage.

Risk-to-Reward Ratio

With a $100 risk per trade and a 1:4 R/R ratio, one successful trade yields $400.

Three successful trades mean $1,200 in your pocket. This is almost enough to pass the first phase (which requires $800) or to complete the second phase ($600).

With a $100 risk per trade and a 1:4 R/R ratio, one successful trade yields $400.
With a $100 risk per trade and a 1:4 R/R ratio, one successful trade yields $400.

These numbers are realistic. The goal is achievable — it just requires discipline.

Goal of the Publication Series

We paid $85 for the challenge. The goal is to pass both phases, get a funded account, and withdraw $3,000 in profit.

Whether we succeed or not — you'll find out in subsequent publications and videos.

Step-by-Step Guide: Buying a Challenge with a 15% Discount

I'll show the entire process — from registration to payment with crypto.

Only use our club's affiliate link:

What the link provides:

  • A 15% discount on any challenge (via promo code BSS on the payment page)
  • Free subscription to AI Hermes Pro — our crypto analytics service

On the main page, click "Get Capital".

Step 2. Filling in Your Details

In the registration form, enter:

  • First and Last Name — exactly as they appear on your documents. Hash Hedge will request verification when you withdraw funds, and discrepancies can cause issues.
  • Email — you will receive a confirmation code here.
  • Password

Click "Get Code", go to your email, copy the code, return to the site, and paste it.

On the final step, ensure the referral code field shows: buysellstyle. If you followed the link, it should be pre-filled automatically.

Click "Register".

Step 3. Choosing a Challenge

In your personal account, click "New Challenge". Scroll down and select the Two Step Classic format — this is the two-phase evaluation discussed above.

Scroll down to the $10,000 option. Click "Crypto Payment" — payment is only accepted in cryptocurrency.

Step 4. Applying the Promo Code

In the order form, enter your name, country, and city.

Scroll down. Click "Click here to enter your code". Enter the promo code: BSS

The price drops from $99 to $84.15. The 15% discount has been applied.

Click "Place order".

Step 5. Payment in USDT

Select the TRC20 network — it has the lowest commission. Copy the wallet address.

Two rules to avoid losing money:

  • Verify the sending network. You must send USDT specifically on the TRC20 network. If you choose the wrong network, the payment will be stuck or lost.
  • Pay the commission separately, in addition to the amount. Otherwise, Hash Hedge will receive less, and the challenge will not be activated.

After sending, wait a couple of minutes. Once the transaction is confirmed, the challenge will be activated in your personal account.

The challenge is ours.
